My tenure at ELC Technologies represented a transition in my career in technology. Given the opportunity to lead rather than follow, I led two startups toward their goals.

The first, Mote.net, seeks to create a search engine to provide data about goings-on right now. They sought to start this data mining process by creating a Facebook application which collected preferences about users' experiences at night clubs in major metropolitan areas. I successfully led a team of three developers and a designer toward a working prototype in under six weeks.
